Laundry Associate, PRN

Job Description​

Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Associate to support the daily linen operations of our hospital. This role is responsible for ensuring clinical departments are stocked with clean linen, maintaining inventory levels, preparing linen packs for sterilization, and delivering linen and scrubs throughout the facility.

Schedule: PRN, as needed Monday- Friday Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute clean linen to hospital departments using a par-level inventory system.
• Monitor and order daily linen inventory to ensure adequate supply levels are maintained.
• Assemble linen packs for sterilization according to established procedures.
• Utilize the ControlTex computer system, including downloading and processing handheld device data.
• Deliver exchange carts, linen carts, and scrubs to designated clinical and support departments.
• Load, unload, and transport linen carts throughout the hospital.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and infection prevention standards.
