The Posting

Nau mai ki te roopu Arvida | Welcome to Arvida

At Arvida, we create communities with freedom to thrive.

We develop and operate communities that provide independent living and aged care services to older New Zealanders - with a resident-led approach. Each day, our interactions with our team and residents are guided by three values: Being There | In it Together | Look for a Way.

Mō te tūranga | About the opportunity

We are looking for a Village Manager to lead and nurture our resident-focused and inclusive community in the heart of Tauranga.

Set in beautiful Pyes Pa, Tauranga, Copper Crest is a thriving community offering independent living, assisted living and specialised care in a sunny and secure environment that embodies Arvida’s Attitude of Living Well. From the vibrant Café 52 at the heart of the village to an active calendar of events, activities and resident-led groups, Copper Crest is a place where people come together, build meaningful connections and enjoy a genuine sense of community.

Supported by a great team, you will oversee the ongoing success of Copper Crest including business planning and execution, team development, resident wellness, sales, maintenance, and overall performance.

  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to deliver operational goals and oversee robust clinical outcomes.
  • An ability to foster a professional working relationship with residents and ensure Arvida’s reputation is enhanced in the local community.
  • Knowledge and experience with commercial agreements, and sales and property management principles.
  • Understanding and application of relevant legislation.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety management and safe working practices.
