At MotorWorld, you’ll work alongside a professional team in a fast-paced environment where your technical abilities, attention to detail, and pride in your work make a difference every day.

Why Join MotorWorld?

  • Put Your Skills to Work: Troubleshoot electrical systems, solve installation challenges, and take pride in seeing the finished product.
  • Be Part of a Great Team: Work closely with experienced service professionals, advisors, and sales teams.
  • Make an Impact: Help customers personalize and enhance their vehicles with high-quality, professional installations.
  • Stay Challenged: No two days need to be the same, with new projects, accessories, and technical challenges to tackle.

What You'll Do

  • Install a wide variety of OEM and aftermarket accessories, including audio/video systems, GPS units, alarms, remote-start systems, heated seats, custom lighting, interior trim, roof racks, trailer hitches, trailer wiring, running boards, tonneau covers, lift kits, and custom wheels and tires.
  • Perform electrical wiring, soldering when required, harness routing, and secure connections in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot installation problems, and use multimeters and diagnostic equipment to ensure everything works as intended.
  • Complete quality-control inspections to verify proper fit, operation, appearance, and vehicle safety before delivery.
  • Follow installation instructions, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer guidelines to ensure professional results.
  • Keep service advisors informed of job progress, document completed work accurately, and help customers understand how to use their new accessories.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while following established shop procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED; automotive technology training, trade school, or technical college education is a plus.
  • Ideally, 1–3 years of experience in automotive accessory installation, automotive repair, electrical work, or a related mechanical field.
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical installation instructions.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, multimeters, and automotive diagnostic tools.
  • Working knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems, circuits, relays, fuses, and professional wiring techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, safety, and doing the job right the first time.
  • Positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with customers and teammates.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced service environment and work weekends as required.
  • Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
