ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology

Enabler for smaller, more powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips

Working for tomorrow today.

Around 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are produced using ZEISS technologies. As the centerpiece of every electronically controlled system, they have become an integral part of our everyday lives – whether in smartphones, smart homes or smart factories. ZEISS is a technology leader in the field of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems and process control solutions, ZEISS enables the production of ever smaller, increasingly powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips, and thus plays a pivotal role in the age of micro- and nanoelectronics.

Your Role

  • Own end-to-end responsibility for DUV infrastructure and construction projects, including new builds and refurbishments, throughout the entire factory lifecycle, while ensuring delivery against cost, quality, and schedule (CQS) targets.
  • Define the project scope, target vision, and objectives, ensuring the feasibility, quality, and sustainability of proposed solutions.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and priorities while driving execution in line with established governance, responsibilities, and stage-gate processes.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams through lateral leadership and coordinate all relevant stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and effective collaboration.
  • Prepare management decisions by providing structured analyses and sound foundations for decision-making.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for DUV infrastructure demands within the SMT-B process, overseeing project initiation, overall project governance, and key alignment forums.
  • Act as the primary interface between business functions, clients, and execution teams to ensure efficient collaboration and successful project delivery.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • At least five years of professional experience, ideally in the management of infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Strong ability to manage complex stakeholder environments, combined with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for driving change, constructively challenging the status quo, and shaping sustainable solutions.
  • Independent, accountable, and results-oriented working style with a high level of commitment, flexibility, and efficiency.
  • Business-fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
