Summary:

Presbyterian Medical Group’s Kaseman location is seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant I or Medical Assistant II to join our outpatient care team. In this role, you will support providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while helping ensure an efficient and positive experience for patients throughout their visit.

Responsibilities:

*Responsible for performing medical assistant procedures after completion of competency within organizations MA scope of work, under the supervision of a provider and PHS policy.
*Assists with procedures as determined by provider
*Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
*Basic foot care
*May perform regulatory audits as designated by the Clinic Manger
*Assists with visit closure
*Participates with care team to meet patient care and clinic needs, working cooperatively with others to accomplish required work in a timely and efficient manner
*May perform scribe duties after completing PMG scribe training

Qualifications:

*High school diploma or equivalent required
*Prior Healthcare experience preferred
*Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 12 months of hire
*BLS (AHA, Red Cross or ASHI Healthcare Provider) required
*Maintains current certifications in required emergency response trainings (i.e. BLS) *Completes all Organizational, Department of Nursing and Department-Specific competency training/requirements within specified timeframe
