ALN Teaching Assistant - Haverfordwest (£90-£100 per day)

Specialist ALN School | Ages 3–19

Rate: £90 - £100 per day

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Teaching Assistant to join our client school, providing valuable support to children and young people aged 3–19 with a range of additional learning, developmental, and support needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting pupils with autism, communication difficulties, and general additional learning needs
• Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support in line with individual development plans
• Supporting speech, language, and differentiated learning activities to boost engagement
• Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and classroom inclusion
• Fostering pupil independence, self-esteem, and social confidence
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and specialist support professionals

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting children or young people with ALN
• Is calm, patient and caring, with a flexible and positive approach
• Works well as part of a team in a specialist setting
• Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
