The Posting

Step into a stable routine. Keep WA's mining villages operating on a strict day-shift roster.

Become part of a team that supports some of Western Australia's largest resource operations. Lock in a normal body clock with a strict day-shift roster. Say goodbye to shift changes and get your full R&R back. This is more than just another FIFO role—it's an opportunity to build a long-term career with a global organisation while helping create a "home away from home" for thousands of remote residents.

Why Join Sodexo?

  • Lifestyle Roster: 8:6 FIFO (ex-Perth) with day shifts only—zero night shifts and no fatigue from shift changes.

  • Career Growth: Genuine opportunities to move into leadership, specialist maintenance, or planning roles through internal progression and cross-training.

Step into a hands-on Facilities Maintenance role across the Pilbara. Servicing remote mine sites, villages, and townships, every day is different. Your work will include:

  • A solid balance of preventative maintenance and statutory servicing.
  • Reactive breakdown repairs and fault finding.
  • Supporting operational continuity across diverse domestic and commercial assets.
  • Participating in a small on-call roster component.
  • Australian Refrigeration Mechanic’s Trade Cert, WA Restricted Electrical Workers License & RHL

  • Current WA Driver’s License.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance across domestic, commercial, or mining sectors.
  • Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug/alcohol screening) and provide a National Police Check (issued within 6 months).
